Gear: #50 Making a Brian Green Esbit Tray

Esbit is a nice lightweight fuel that works well to boil up your water for your pre-made or freezer bag meals.  This stove is very easy to make out of just about any metal you can get your hands on, including a soda can.  This was designed by Brian Green and you can check out his blog post on this stove below.

Adventure: #65 A Day Hike at Broemmelsiek Park

Perfect day for a last hike of 2016, I headed over to Broemmelsiek Park and hit some of the trails I have never hiked. Lots of prairie to see. It was excellent.

Gear: #48 Bottle Bag Modifications

Bottle bags are a great way to contain essential kit into one container. But it is difficult to get the lid for my cup out of the bottom not to mention the lid of the bag has wasted space. No more!! Time to mod.
